Anti-Aging

It is a fact, people are living longer and there has been a rise in people trying to reverse the signs of aging both on the inside and out. Although you cannot turn back the clock, you can make growing old easier.
So what are the problems that people face, and what can be done about it?
A large percentage of skin aging is caused by over exposure to the sun. This is a big problem for people trying to delay the signs of aging and there is of course the increasing risk of skin cancer. Skin aging does not happen over night. It is something that happens over many years of over exposure to the sun and signs of over exposure can be seen by wrinkling of the skin. So how can you prevent this from happening? Always use a high factor sun cream when exposing yourself to the sun and do not go out in the sun when it is at its strongest (between 10am and 3pm).
Smoking. We should all by now know the problems that can be caused by smoking but did you know that smoking can also contribute to facial wrinkles? It has been known that people who smoke tend to have more wrinkles than non-smokers of the same age. The reason for this is that smoking triggers an effect on blood vessels which starves the skin of blood and oxygen. Quitting smoking now will significantly improve your health.
Water is our life force. Complaints such as headaches, lack of energy and achy joints can be contributed to dehydration. Keep your body hydrated by drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day.

stress levels
and get more
exercise
. This will improve both your physical and mental health. Smile more and enjoy life, meet new people, take new challenges.
Keeping your brain smart, by learning new things (taking a night school class for instance) and keeping active with exercise can help keep our brain healthy and produce new brain cells.
